On January 29, 2024, the Foundation, together with the top ten African embassies in China, held the “Yueyin Wanchuan” Global Poverty Reduction Program Public Welfare Dinner at the Conrad Hotel. During the event, ambassadors from various countries shared their national conditions and development prospects with the guests present. The Foundation also signed a public welfare project agreement with African SDAA non-governmental organizations and donated 20 million yuan as project funds, establishing good partnerships with African countries.
“Yueyin Wanchuan” Global Poverty Reduction Plan aims to deepen this action with more practical measures, a better platform, more reasonable operation, and more feasible solutions. It not only ensures the stable and far-reaching development of global poverty reduction, but also allows more enterprises and institutions to demonstrate their responsibilities in public welfare, so that we can enhance confidence, expand influence, enhance mutual trust and promote common prosperity in the global poverty reduction action, achieving the development of public welfare and long-term development.
“Yueyin Wanchuan”, originating from an ancient Chinese mythological story, which was spread by the famous sage Zhu Xi in the Song Dynasty. It has become an important proposition in traditional Chinese philosophical thought. The meaning is that the ideal of perfection is like the radiance of the moon, shining into the mountains and rivers. All things in the world exist because of this common idea. Taking this philosophical thought, Zhongbo Group thinks that the global poverty reduction is like a beautiful moonlight, crossing thousands of rivers and mountains, and imprinted in the mountains and rivers of the world.
