Bengbu sluice expansion project

The expansion project of Bengbu sluice is an important project determined in the previous planning of the main stream of Huaihe River. It is one of the backbone projects of Huaihe River specified by The State Council and the national key project of the control of Huai River. As a sub-project of the "river renovation and embankment reinforcement project of the upper and middle reaches of the Huaihe River", the expansion project of Bengbu sluice is an urgent requirement for the people on both sides of the Huaihe River. At present, the project is playing the comprehensive benefits of irrigation, power generation, shipping, flood discharge and water supply on the main stream of the Huaihe River.
