Guangzhou International Finance Project is a major strategic deployment made by Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to implement the strategy of "strengthening the city through finance" and promote the construction of Guangzhou regional financial center. It is also one of the first PPP demonstration projects in Guangzhou, with a total investment of about 8.94 billion yuan and a total land area of about 1.32 square kilometers. The construction content includes 8 sub-projects, including the construction project of Huacheng Avenue, the traffic road construction project in the area, the construction project of Linjiang Avenue, the river gushing renovation project, the public greening supporting project, the Lingnan style pedestrian street, the wharf project, and the simple downstream renovation project. The construction period is 2.5 years, and the operation period is 20 years.
This project is a complex underground urban complex integrating transportation, commerce, public services, parking and green municipal administration. It represents the most advanced underground space development level in the world and has the most perfect underground space functions. It is a major step for Guangzhou to actively connect with the national development strategy of "Belt and Road" and build a strong financial city.
