Xianning to Tongshan Expressway (referred to as Xiantong Expressway) in Hubei is the branch line of the horizontal and five lines in the "six vertical, five horizontal and one ring" skeleton highway network of Hubei Province, and is also the focus of the "Comprehensive Transportation Planning of Wuhan City Circle" approved by the provincial government. Xiantong Expressway starts from Xian'an District of Xianning City, and connects with the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in the form of hub interchange, passing through Chongyang County and Tongshan County, and finally the Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway under construction is set up with a hub interchange to complete the traffic conversion of the two expressways, and connects the 106 National Road through the Shanxi connection line.
The total length of main line of Xiantong Expressway is 49.317 km, of which the total length of Bridges is 8412.92 m / 37, accounting for 17.03% of route total length, the long tunnel is 1007 m / seat (left hole); the total length of bridge and tunnel is 9.413 km, 19.06% of route length; 272 culverts; 6 interchange; 1 main line toll station, 4 ramp toll stations and 1 service area. The main line adopts the standard of two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 km / h.
The main construction contents of the daily maintenance project of Xiantong Expressway include: the maintenance works of the whole line of subgrade, pavement, bridge and culvert, tunnel and traffic safety facilities and various minor repair works.
